Vacation Care Programs
Fun, Interactive Games, Education, Team Sports, and Prizes! This program is packed full of activities for children aged between 5-12 years.Hosted by Lea – the duration of this non-stop fun goes for approximately 1 ½ to 2 hours – and every child receives a prize. The kids will rave about this one for weeks after!
The children will see and learn about some of natures wonderful bugs, with the Bug Kidz preserved displays and live insects. Choose from a hands on experience or just watch from a distance, these creatures are not dangerous and are sure to amaze and delight everyone!
Let the games begin:
• An interactive guessing game: all about mini beasts! The concept is similar to the game headbanz. Could I be a Grasshopper, a Dung Beetle, a Stick Insect, or a Butterfly?• Relay Races: The relay races are rather unique as the kids imitate a particular insect for each leg of the relay race. This is a really cool way to learn about insects and the environment through play.
• Gooey Tubs: Children love the gooey tubs activity. There are lots of plastic insects to find, however this is not so easy, as their eyes will be closed, and they will be relying on their sensory perception.
